The Amsterdam Tulip Museum is conveniently located across the Anne Frank House. We advise you to include it in your visit to this area. The museum shows you the history of the tulip using multi media presentations. There is a specific focus on the Tulip Mania period.

This small and friendly museum also gives you great insight on how to grow tulips. This will make a difference if you plan to grow Amsterdam tulip bulbs at home. The bulbs on sale at the museum are pretty good as well.
