The Pure Market is a relatively new initiative, and usually takes place in the summer. It started in Amsterdam but expanded to the rest of the country very fast. The Pure Market is now the number one organic food event in Amsterdam.

More than 65 participants offer you food and drinks from all kinds of places and taste. The pure connotation is not lost in the atmosphere and offerings of the Pure Markt. Expect a great variety of organic food that is healthy and tastes great. You’ll also see the cosmopolitan aspect of Amsterdam with food from countries all over the world with country with whom Amsterdam has a strong bond. Obviously you can also indulge in some great local snacks and treats.

The Pure Markt is an event for the whole family. There is plenty of attention for the little ones and the children will enjoy the market, as well as learn how to eat healthy and have fun. The parks in which the Pure Market is usually held are the cleanest and often most beautiful in Amsterdam. The Amstelpark for example, was built originally for a Floriade, the largest flower show in the world. The Beatrixpark is known for it’s relaxing atmosphere and beautifully renovated section bordering the affluent Zuidas district. The final location of the Pure Markt, Frankendael is another great park located behind the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam’s east side.
