Mondrian in Amsterdam features more than 60 different works. Quite a few of these have rarely been shown to the public. The exhibition features paintings, drawings and prints from Mondrian’s time in Amsterdam (1892 until 1912).

The Dutch painter was inspired by Amsterdam’s beautiful scenery. The paintings are not all about Amsterdam landscapes though. There are many different themes.

Mondrian in Amsterdam focuses on how Piet Mondrian discovered his style. It is a very interesting journey through the mind of one of the biggest painters in history. Guided tours are available at request. This costs 70 euro’s per group. More information here.
